Bridge the Gap

Already certified in Pilates but want a Kane School education? The Bridge Program offers teachers an abbreviated track to enhance your current training with a Kane School Certification in both mat and equipment.

Requirements

  • Required to qualify for the Bridge Program: Proof of completion of comprehensive pilates certification (including reformer).
  • Required to complete the Bridge Program: Take or test out of CMA, complete the 1st weekend of Comprehensive Mat and Phase 2 of the Apparatus Training, pass practical + written exams.

Three-Step Process

1. Core Muscle Anatomy

Two weekends of comprehensive anatomy education. There is an option to test out of CMA with a score of 90 or higher on our entrance exam; $25 testing fee required. (Virtual or In-Person)

2. Comprehensive Mat

Bridge students take the first weekend only, which includes: Physiological Fundamentals, Core Principles, Pre-Pilates Exercises. Post course requirements: Open book exam for comprehensive mat certification, independent hours. Complete graduation application once two lecture days, exam, and independent study (1 private review) are complete. (Virtual or In-Person)

3. Apparatus Training

Bridge students do not take Phase 1, which is entirely choreography, they take Phase 2 only, which includes: Module 1 (12 hrs), Module 2 (12 hrs), Module 3 (12 hrs), Module 4 (12 hrs). Post course requirements: Complete the open book vomprehensive written exam (no practical exam). Complete graduation application once eight lecture days, exam, and independent study (4 private review sessions) are complete. (In-Person only)

Bridge Program Steps 1 + 2: CMA + Comprehensive Mat (wknd 1)

Bridge Program Certification Tuition

Core Muscle Anatomy

  • Tuition: $575 ($250 deposit to register); includes CMA manual and Trail Guide to the Body textbook

Comprehensive Mat

Tuition: $600

  • $120 + tax for private review session with a senior teacher trainer
  • Open book exam for comprehensive mat certification
  • Mandatory $25/month for 1-month Virtually Kinected membership

Total: $745 + tax

Total for steps 1 & 2 (CMA + Comp Mat) = $1320

**Bridge students can audit the second weekend of Comp Mat, which covers choreography, for a fee of $100; and/or Comp Mat choreography videos are available for 2-week rentals for Bridge students for $20.

Phase 2

Tuition: $2350 for tuition, includes Phase 2 manual ($300 deposit due at time of registration. Payment plans available. Phase 1 manual optional, purchased separately.)

  •  $240 + tax for two 1-hour private Phase 1 (choreography) review sessions
  •  $270 + tax for two 1-hour private reviews sessions with Kelly Kane and Matt McCulloch
  • Mandatory $25/month for 1-month Virtually Kinected membership
